It’s been a few years since I saw a video that seemed like science fiction at the time. It was a girl in front of a kind of magic mirror in which she could see herself wearing the different fashion items offered by an online clothing and accessories store. It was like inventing teleportation to the changing room and learning the trick of changing clothes with a snap of the fingers. It’s been two years since Toshiba introduced its magic mirror and a Google search reveals a number of similar projects underway. Although this mirror is more intended for physical stores, how will augmented reality influence e-commerce?

The thing is that with our mobile device (smartphone or tablet) we can see how the item in question looks anywhere, in real size, and in different colors or positions.
