Oxyma Expands with Acquisition of Social Media Specialist Your Social

Your Social becomes part of Oxyma

Oxyma is adding another bead to its chain with the acquisition of social media specialist Your Social from Breda. And from Dubai, which provides Oxyma with unexpected opportunities. It was just announced that Oxyma has completed another acquisition in the Netherlands after aFrogleap and Oogst. It probably won’t be the last, but in terms of strategy and content, CEO Ronald Marcus thinks he has already filled in quite a few of the blank spots on his radar.

Reducing Business Waste

With this acquisition, we have become a true omnichannel marketing agency. From Oxyma itself, we are traditionally good at CRM and owned media, aFrogleap knows the mobile channel like no other and Oogst is a specialist in paid media. In an interview with E-commerce, Marcus indicates that with Your Social, the earned media area is now also covered. The parties are keeping the amount of money involved in the takeover and the valuation at which the transaction took place last week a secret. It is clear that founders Patric Kint, Max Fackeldey, and Rudy Banholzer are reinvesting in Oxyma and are thus becoming shareholders in Oxyma.

Strengthening Omnichannel Partnerships

Your society will continue to exist as an autonomous entity. In parallel, we will work with the other Oxyma companies to fill in the omnichannel proposition for mutual existing and new customers. Kint and Fackeldey have built a company over the past six years that works from strategy to campaign execution. “Full service, in other words.” It works for clients such as Interpolis, Koninklijke Auping, Bavaria, Mentos, and Singapore Airlines. Kint: “We notice from the demand from our clients that the combination of social with CRM, which Oxyma is strong in, is becoming very important to them.”

Expanding Global Reach

For example, many producers do not have a direct customer relationship and therefore have little customer data. However, the trend is that they increasingly want to take control of that relationship. A pleasant surprise for Morcus was the office of Your Social in Dubai. That team of twelve people works, especially towards international clients, in tandem with the 21 in the Netherlands. For example, Bavaria is served internationally. Fackeldey: “The quality of the team there is extremely high and is also recognized as such by others.” That office in question will function as a springboard to other markets in the region.

Kint and Fackeldey are also preparing the opening of a second foreign hub, in Singapore. Marcus: “Our customers are not limited to the Netherlands either.” He had been actively expanding towards Germany for months. “The addition of Dubai opens the gate to a promising new market area faster than expected.” The group of companies of and around Oxyma now consists of 325 people. Possibly a small acquisition will be made in the Netherlands in the field of content and creation.
